Tiger Store

Tiger Store

The Tiger Store is the last remaining building of the once-bustling town of Tiger. This historic 1912 building was restored in the year 2000 to be the Gateway for the North Pend Oreille Scenic Byway, as well as the home of the Tiger Historical Center's museum, and a store run by the organization's members. The building, which was historically a general store and was the town's post office until 1975, now serves as a Visitor Infomation Center, a public rest area from May through October, a gift shop, a free museum, a source of information on local family histories and history of the Byway area.

Noisy Creek Campground

Noisy Creek Campground is situated along the south shore of Sullivan Lake. Mountains surround the lake. Facilities provided include restrooms and a boat launch. Maximum 2 vehicles per site with an extra vehicle fee collected on site for the 2nd one - except at the group site. Facilities include boat launch, tables, fire rings, water, garbage service, restrooms. Swimming, boating, fishing and hiking are popular activities.

Edgewater Campground

Edgewater Campground is perched along the banks of the Pend Oreille River in the Colville National Forest. The quiet, family-friendly campground attracts visitors who come for boating, hiking and fishing. The picturesque area, surrounded by cedar, hemlock and Douglas fir, boasts views of the Selkirk Mountains.
The campground is located approximately 90 miles north of Spokane, WA. After crossing the Ione Bridge eastbound over the Pend Oreille River, look for the Edgewater Campground sign and immediately turn left. The campground is located 2 miles north of the bridge on Box Canyon Road.
